Keep Agriculture Local and Empowered

The K.A.L.E. CSA Society formed as a result of work by members in the previous Nathan Creek's Core Group Steering Committee.

KALE will be working to

• provide access to organic food for members through community supported agriculture,
• secure a sustainable land base for organic farming in the Lower Mainland from which to provide this food to our members,
• establish a secure and sustainable working relationship with our farmer/s,
• strengthen the members' relationship with their food, the land, the farmer(s) and each other through participation in farm work and related activities and events, and
• engage in partnerships and outreach to promote local organic agriculture and community supported agriculture.

All individuals wishing to obtain shares of the Nathan Creek farm's harvest will be asked to become members of KALE CSA Society. By joining KALE, members can have a greater input into the planning associated with their farm: through participation on the board, working on one of our various committees, or attendance at the AGM.
